Our Rooms
Each of our six rooms has been beautifully decorated using textiles, furnishings, artefacts and fittings sourced sustainably from around South and Southern Africa, supporting local artists, artisans and entrepreneurs where possible.
Facilities
The spacious open plan living areas are tastefully decorated and include a lounge with flat screen TV and a beautiful, spacious open-plan kitchen. The dining area has enough room for the whole family to eat together. Expansive fold-away doors overlooking the sparkling pool and boma area allow the outdoors in. The flow allows for many wonderful entertainment opportunities and the private spaces offer everyone a place to relax and rejuvenate.
Surrounded by the pristine wilderness of the Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, this is also home to a diversity of wildlife from plains game like kudu, waterbuck, impala and nyala to giraffe, wildebeest and zebra. Feel free to walk the central green belt area or take a mountain bike ride along dedicated trails. Or go horse riding in the wilderness... The choice is yours.
Cooking
Cooking becomes a family affair allowing you the freedom to prepare your own meals in your own time. Serviced as required, you have the chance to make the most of this special location on your own timeframe.
You will be spoilt for choice when deciding to eat in the open dining room, at the casual table outside on the deck or al fresco around the boma fire.
The kitchen is well equipped with top-end appliances including a dishwasher, microwave and large fridge.

This spacious luxury suite at eKhaya is located on the ground floor, with its own deck overlooking the villa's plunge pool. It has a large king-size bed and an adjoining room with a comfortable three-quarter size sofa bed. The sofa bed doubles as a cozy couch, offering a nice place to curl up with a good book. The luxurious en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower, wonderful bathtub, and a twin vanity unit. All of the beds at eKhaya are dressed in the very best percale cotton linen, and a selection of beautiful, fluffy towels in each bathroom.

Deluxe Room 2 is a large ground-floor room with its own deck overlooking eKhaya’s gardens packed with indigenous plants and a secluded lounging spot with views of the bush beyond. It has a lovely queensize bed facing the sliding doors which lead out onto the deck. There are extensive built-in cupboards offer double wardrobe space as well as ample drawers allowing guests to just unpack and relax, rather than live out of a suitcase. This deluxe room has a spacious en-suite bathroom, with large walk in shower, a bathtub, single vanity unit, additional cupboard space for all toiletry requirements and various sizes of luxurious fluffy towels.

Because this bedroom is slightly smaller and only offers a double bed, it is ideally suited to a single adult or to a family with young siblings comfortable to share. This beautiful upstairs luxury suite has a lovely outside balcony with views over the surrounding bush and the distant Drakensberg escarpment. This room has two single beds, but can easily be converted to a kingsize bed on request. Expansive sliding doors lead out to the balcony, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and admire the stunning view. There is a large built in wardrobe with plenty of clothing or luggage space next to the en-suite bathroom which offers a nice size bath, walk in shower, a double vanity unit with further space for toiletries. All of the beds at Ekhaya Bush Villa are dressed and have a selection of beautiful towels in each bathroom. All guests will be required to provide confirmation voucher or positive ID when checking in and a copy of the ID document / passport / birth certificate will be made for record purposes. Please ensure that you have the necessary documents with you on arrival. All guests will be required to sign an indemnity form on arrival.
Bank charges will be levied on cash deposit payments & foreign transfers.
No pets are allowed.
All guests will be required to settle their accounts for extras, laundry, etc. on departure. This can be done by EFT or local currency notes.
We recommend that all guests have a comprehensive travel insurance to cover injury, medical costs, cancellation and loss or damage to personal belongings.

- 90 – 61 Days prior to arrival 25% cancellation fee of the value of the booking.
- 60 – 31 Days prior to arrival 50% cancellation fee of the value of the booking.
- 30 – 0 days prior to arrival 100% cancellation fee on the value of the booking.
